Hawaiian Falls Roanoke is hosting a Back-to-School supply drive Monday August 8th through Friday August 12th. Participants can purchase a $10 Day Pass (regular $35.99), good for one admission on any operating day in the 2022 season, in exchange for donating school supplies.

Hawaiian Falls Roanoke is hosting a Back-to-School supply drive Monday August 8th through Friday August 12th. Participants can purchase a $10 Day Pass (regular $35.99), good for one admission on any operating day in the 2022 season, in exchange for donating school supplies.

“As we prepare for a new school year, we want to help supply kids with the tools they need for success,” explained Ron McKenzie, Hawaiian Falls Marketing Director. “A new backpack or even a set of colored pencils can make a huge impact on a child’s education. As a community, we can partner together to support local organizations and have some fun doing it.”

Hawaiian Falls will accept school supplies at the front gate to benefit Community Partners of Dallas. To receive the $10 ticket (good for one Day Pass for an Adult or Child), donate a minimum of five (5) of the following items for each discounted ticket:

• Clear Backpacks 

• 1” 3-ring binders 

• Block erasers 

• Scientific calculators 

• Colored pencils 

• Composition books 

• Construction paper (9x12, 100 count or less)

• 24 count crayons 

• 8-tab dividers 

• Folders (with pockets and brads)

• Glue bottles 

• Highlighters 

• Index cards (100 count)

• Manila paper (9x12, 100 count or less)

• Markers (10 count)

• Notebook paper (wide-ruled, 100 count)

• Pencil pouches 

• Pencil sharpeners 

• Rulers 

• Safety scissors 

• 1-subject spiral notebooks (wide-ruled)

• Watercolors 

Community Partners of Dallas’ mission is to provide what abused children urgently need today to thrive tomorrow. The organization provide what these children need for the first steps to healing; by providing for their basic and individualized needs. Equally important is encouraging and equipping the CPI/CPS caseworkers. Annually, Community Partners of Dallas serves more than 15,000 abused and neglected children in Dallas County through an array of programs and drives.
