Mean Green vs. Nicholls State on Sep. 20
The North Texas Mean Green (2-2, 0-1 Conference USA) proved to be better than Nicholls State by beating the Colonels in a non-conference game 77-3 at Apogee Stadium on Saturday, Sep. 20. Mean Green quarterback freshman Dajon Williams had five combined rushing and passing touchdowns along with 244 total yards. The Mean Green victory was the largest since 1948, when North Texas beat Randolph Field. The Mean Green’s next game will be against Indiana on Oct. 4 in Bloomington. Their next home game is Oct. 18 at Apogee Stadium.
