The fall NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) will be held Thursday, October 30 through Sunday, November 2. The Fort Worth Police Department has informed Northwest ISD the race will cause traffic congestion in some communities, specifically around the Texas Motor Speedway corridor at IH-35W and Highway 114 and FM 156, starting approximately Friday, October 31 and lasting until Sunday evening. Students and parents may need to plan alternate routes on Friday.
